These days more people visit websites from their phones than from computers. This means that websites have to be built to work just as well on all different devices. When I develop websites I test them on various screen sizes to make sure they are looking their best.
I use WordPress to create the websites. WordPress is a free and open-source content management system. WordPress powers more than 28% of the web and is used by more than 60 million websites.
I can help out when you are having problems getting things to work on your website—either showing you how to do it yourself or doing it for you. If you need someone to work with your hosting company to get things fixed I can work with them on your behalf.
Thousands of websites are hacked everyday and most of the time it is because they have not applied basic security patches. I update the WordPress core, themes, and plugins as they come available and also actively scan for vulnerabilities in the website code.
I offer daily, weekly, and monthly backups stored on Dropbox. These can be restored at any time. If an update breaks your website it only takes a couple minutes to get the last backup restored and the website working again.
Google My Business
I can add your business to Google My Business and verify it with Google Search Console. This helps your website show up better in searches and it also helps people know that you are actually real.
If you don’t already have a Facebook page I can set one up for you. It is good to have one, even if it is a simple static page that directs people to your website.
I also offer training sessions to help you learn to update your website yourself. Giving an overview of the WordPress dashboard and also the Divi Visual Builder if your website uses Divi (affiliate).
Sometimes websites get hacked. If you are in need of someone to help repair your site and get it going, I can work with you and with the security analysts at WordFence to get it up and running again.
